First Year Lavender Bags
Dry it
All the bunches are hung in the barn to dry. Picked late in the first year to get the most of the flowers, the colour is not as strong as it can be but perfect for potpourri bags.
Shake it
A long and dusty process follows to shake & strip the stalks of all their flowers. The smell is intense & Rumple, the dog, couldn’t cope & so deserted to the garden.
Bag it
The ‘worlds largest’ potpourri bag which works well in the boot room! Some hundreds of small lavender bags then followed and were shared with friends and family.
