It was great fun to find the varieties that we wanted and then to source a good supplier so that the plants were disease free & delivered on time.
Marking up
Marking up the mats to the right distance between each plant was back breaking.

With all the friends & family helping, planting in the early spring started. It was chilly to say the least.

All the gubins of planting from tape measures to spray paint, hammers to pegs & of course the essential ‘branding iron’ to melt the mats to make planting slots.
Friends
Planting is much more fun when your friends turn up after work for a quick half hour of planting, even if not quite dressed for the occasion.

A great supplier delivering as promised with perfect little plugs gives confidence that it will all go swimmingly well.
